I have worked as both a copy editor and writer for a wide range of clients both on a freelance as well as a more permanent basis. Most recently, I worked as a freelance editor for a small book press based in the Buffalo, New York area that published on a wide variety of topics, including literature, history, and the social sciences. In the past, I have worked as an editor and staff writer for an advertising company, two government contractors (DoD and EPA), and a non-profit group that focused on music education. This variety has introduced me to many different writing styles and formats. Additionally, I have completed my doctoral degree in English Language and Literature in the past year, my area of specialty being medieval literature, specifically Arthurian legends and myths. I hope to draw on all these experiences as I work to continue my own writing career.
